Last month, GPShopper hired comScore to survey over 1,100 American consumers on their mobile app usage and holiday shopping behavior. More than 83% of respondents reported that they will use their phone for their 2015 holiday shopping.

The survey revealed:

  • 80% of respondents use a mobile shopping app every month

  • Nearly 60% use their favorite retailer's app at least weekly

  • 2/3 have 3+ shopping apps on their phone

  • The most important contributors to satisfaction with a retail app are My Favorite Store/Brand, Loyalty Programs, and Mobile Exclusive Offers

  • Most shoppers intend to use their phones for holiday shopping by Researching Products and Comparing Prices In-Store

  • The app features consumers plan on using most this holiday are Offers, Customer Reviews and Loyalty Account
