2015 Consumer Survey Results: Mobile Apps, Payments & Holiday Shopping

2015_Holiday_Shopping_Behavior-1.jpgGPShopper surveyed over 1,100 American mobile shoppers on their plans to use their mobile phones and mobile apps this upcoming holiday retail season. 

The survey revealed:

  • Over 83% of respondents will do their holiday shopping on their phones. They expect to use mobile primarily for Researching Products and Comparing Prices In-Store.

  • 80% use a mobile shopping app every month

  • Nearly 60% use their favorite retailer's app at least weekly

  • 2/3 have more than 3 shopping apps on their phone

  • Mobile app satisfaction is driven by the retailer offering My Favorite Store/Brand,  a Mobile Loyalty Program, and Mobile Exclusive Offers.

  • The app features consumers plan on using most this holiday are Offers, Customer Reviews and Loyalty Account
