Retail is rapidly changing, with new upstarts challenging the conventional known brands. Here are a couple of newbies that are making waves and growing their fan-base.
1. M. Gemi
Who doesn’t love a beautiful pair of handcrafted shoes from Italy? Similar to Everlane, M. Gemi is employing small family owned factories to craft their luxury footwear for a fraction of the typical retailer cost. Quality at a price I can afford – what’s better than that?
Yoga pants galore! Carbon38 believes in fashionable sportswear for the modern, active woman. After all, gym-wear is the new streetwear so expect to see their brands both in and out of the gym.
I think I’m seeing a trend here…another hot lifestyle brand for the active. To all you workout fanatics, I highly suggest checking out Outdoor Voices. The hoodies are soft, flattering and fit every body type. I’m also loving their women’s tri-tone and two-tone leggings.
I first learned about Soludos through my favorite fashion blogger, Sincerely Jules. Soludos are comfortable, classic and great for the entire family. These espadrilles are perfect for a tropical vacation, summers at the beach or a casual night out. And the best part? Soludos are designed in Soho, New York ... right near GPShopper's NYC office.
Foray Collective is not your average retailer. It was founded in 2015 by a former classmate of mine from The University of New Hampshire, Kaitlynn Carter. Foray offers women a place to explore cutting-edge designers and emerging brands. The shopping destination also allows the consumer to shop by today’s top styles and fashion influencers.
