Gabriel Farrell, GPShopper's Senior Vice President of Technology, will be speaking at this week's Digital Irish event in New York City, which will showcase companies that are "making waves in the ‘Internet of Things’ space."
A member of GPShopper’s founding team, Gabriel has over 15 years of experience in product development and operations. After received his degree from University College Dublin, he moved to US to attend graduate school at Creighton University. Gabriel caught the startup bug during web 1.0, moved to San Francisco and worked as a developer for companies focused on bringing the web to education (iMind and ‘The Education Network’). Before joining GPShopper in 2005 he led development for vegbank.org, a National Science Foundation sponsored project.
Digital Irish is a non-profit community that aims to promote Irish startups and help them expand operations into North America by providing a soft landing in NYC, through regular fast-pitch meetup events and networking opportunities.
