Scheduled to take place next week in Dallas, September 26 - 28, this year's show is expected to focus on omni-channel, digital commerce and share ideas that can help retailers find success after an extremely challenging year has forced the retail community to rethink traditional strategies.

This year, there's a new focus on mobile commerce and for good reason. Demandware's recent Mobile Shopping Focus Report found that 60 percent of traffic to e-commerce sites will come from phones by the end of 2017 - leading Bloomberg and other media outlets to declare that online shopping is officially moving from mobile first, to mobile only. With these findings, it's no wonder that smart retailers, like Steve Madden, are opting to make mobile center to their omni-channel strategy. Steve Maddens President of E-Commerce, Mark Friedman, talked recently with Total Retail to describe how they are leveraging their mobile app to win over customers. Since launching the app that marries content and commerce, the app has been named as one fo the "Most Loved Shopper Apps" by Internet Retailer.
